Genevieve A. Voigt Genevieve Voigt age 97 years formerly of Milwaukee Pewaukee Manitowoc and Harbor Cove Port Washington died peacefully Sunday evening May 12 2013 at Horizen Hospice in Mequon. She was born September 10 1915 in the Town of Belgium daughter of Nic and Mathilda Krier Jungers. She attended St. Nicholas Catholic School in Dacada and graduated from Random Lake High School. On August 8 1938 she married Orrin Doc Voigt at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 2003. Mrs. Voigt was a teacher professional milliner and enjoyed quilting and gardening. Survivors include her three children Mary Voigt of Williamsburg VA Jerold (Alice) Voigt of Cedarburg and Donald (Mary Ann) Voigt of Port Washington five grandchildren 12 great grandchildren and her sister Dolores Sauer of Port Washington. She was preceded in death by four brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 18 1 PM at Our Lady of the Lakes St. Nicholas Chapel Dacada followed by burial in the parish cemetery. Father James Ernster will preside. Visitation at the CHURCH Saturday from 12 noon until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials to Alzheimer's Association appreciated (www.alz.org).
