Gene P. Quader Mr. Gene Quader, a lifelong member of Port Washington, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 17, 2016. He was 77 years old. Gene was born May 12, 1938, the son of Felix and Marie (nee Kraemer) Quader. He graduated from Port Washington High School in 1956. After high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. He went on to work at Bolens for over 35 years. When he was younger, he enjoyed bowling and spent many evenings at the bowling alley with friends. He enjoyed fishing at the Port Harbor, and was an avid animal lover who was known to be seen feeding the ducks and geese during the winter months. He especially loved his pet cats. Gene is survived by his sister Lois (Ronald) Weyker of Belgium, 2 nephews and 1 niece. He is preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00-3:00PM. Gene will be laid to rest beside his parents at St. Mary's Parish Cemetery in Port Washington.
