Eugene R. Fransee Gene Fransee of Saukville passed away Monday morning October 5 2015 at Milan Estates. He was 89 years old. Gene was born February 9 1926 in Milwaukee the son of Arthur and Lucille (nee Greiner) Fransee. On August 30 1947 he was united in marriage with Kathryn Kay Lau at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Gene was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville where he had been a member of the church board. He also served on the Saukville Village Board and was a member of the Saukville American Legion. In 1946 Gene started a landscaping business Landscape Artist in Milwaukee and continued in the business until his retirement at age 88. Gene is survived by his children: Mary (the late Paul) Springer of Phoenix AZ Ann (George) Eger of Saukville John (Penny) Fransee of Port Washington Beth (John) Fredericksen of Cedarburg Susie (Greg) Ollman of Fox Point and Amy (Jeff) Smith of Saukville 9 grandchildren 16 great-grandchildren nieces nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 5PM on Sunday October 11 2015 at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:30-5PM. Gene will be laid to rest beside Kay at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saukville. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
