Genaro S. Aguirre Sr. Genaro Aguirre Sr of Belgium passed away in the morning hours of Sunday May 29 2011 at Columbia St. Mary's hospital in Mequon surrounded by his loving family. He was 85 years old. Genaro was born on December 2 1925 in Carrizo Springs TX son of Magdaleno and Francisca Sauceda Aguirre. On March 6 1952 he married Margarita Tijerina in Carrizo Springs TX. The couple moved to Belgium WI in 1962 where Genaro started working for Krier Preserving in Belgium currently Lakeside Foods. He switched to janitorial duties and driving samples from plant to plant about 18 years ago and was still employed there when he passed away. Genaro loved his family and he treasured his time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Margarita of Belgium five children; Juan (Gail) Aguirre of Oostburg Martha (John) Perez of Port Washington Genaro Aguirre Jr. (Elida Cornado) of Sheboygan Juanita Valadez of Port Washington and Rick Aguirre of Round Rock TX. He is further survived by eight grandchildren; Heather (Andre) Bennett of Beloit Melisa Perez of Madison Carolyn (Dan) Perez-Pia of Streamwood IL Kyle Nelson of Sheboygan Robert Valadez of Belgium Mark (Sally) Valadez of Milwaukee Casey Valadez of West Bend and Selena Mendoza of Port Washington five great-grandchildren; Dawson Quentin Samantha Angelo and Crystal his brother Pedro Aguirre of Chicago IL nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents three sisters and one brother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday June 3 2011 at 10 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church with Father Dick Fleischman officiating. He will be laid to rest in Carrizo Springs TX. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 2nd from 4-7 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 171 N.
