Ms. Gena Borgenhagen of Fredonia, passed away peacefully Friday, September 23, 2016, at Forest Haven in Fredonia. She was 52 years old. Gena was born in Milwaukee on February 4, 1964, daughter of Don and Nancy Ellis Deike. The family moved to the Grafton area in 1975, and later to Port Washington in 1987. Gena enjoyed listening to music and singing along, and shopping with her daughter. Ms. Borgenhagen loved being a mom and raising her children. More recently, she enjoyed the benefits of being a grandmother and getting to spoil her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Kayla Keller of Fredonia and Brandin Borgenhagen of Port Washington, grandchildren Cianna Zukaitis & Mason Borgenhagen and father Don (Maggy) Deike of Hartland. She is further survived by her brothers Jacques Deike of Hartland and Bill Fedderly of Nekoosa, former husbands Dale Keller and Lance Borgenhagen, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 28, from 6-8PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home –Cedarburg Chapel, 1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg.
