Gary A. Oseland, of Waldo, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 8, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was 68 years old.
Gary was born on April 5, 1955, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Arnold and Lila (Hahn) Oseland. He graduated from Wauwatosa West High School with the class of 1973. On May 27, 1978, Gary was united in marriage to Debbie Robinson, they spent over 45 years together.
One of Gary's many talents were seen in his love for music. He played for many worship teams including The Living Miracles, All Brothers in Christ, 5 Ganieres and a guy named Gary along with many other worship teams.
Not only did Gary have a gift for music, but he also had a keen eye for capturing life's beautiful moments through amateur photography. Whether it was nature's breathtaking landscapes or candid snapshots of his loved ones, Gary had a talent for freezing time and encapsulating the essence of every captured memory.
He enjoyed adventures with his beloved wife, Debbie, traveling across the country in their RV. Exploring new places and immersing themselves in local culture brought them immense joy and created cherished memories.
Aside from his musical and artistic pursuits, Gary was an avid fan of Wisconsin sports. He passionately cheered on his favorite teams, finding solace and camaraderie in the victories and losses that come with being a dedicated fan.
Gary is survived by his wife Debbie, his siblings Sandy ("Jim" Fidel) Delarosa and Lila Gokey, he was a beloved "Uncle Gary" to many nieces and nephews over the years; a very special brother-in-law to Patti and Kevin; also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mom and dad; his siblings Jim, Virginia, and Frank Balzer along with June Oseland.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 7:00 PM, at Portview Church, 3457 County Rd LL, Port Washington, Pastor Mark Larson and Pastor Laurie Ganiere will be presiding. The family will greet friends and relatives from 4:00 PM until the time of service at the CHURCH. He will be laid to rest at Waldo Cemetery on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
The family would like to give a special thank you for all the love and support throughout Gary's illness.
Donations may be made in Gary's name to Port View Church or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
