Gary J. Gosewehr passed away unexpectedly at his home in Port Washington on Saturday October 19, 2019. He was 63 years old. Gary was born in Port Washington on February 16, 1956 to John and Marilyn (nee Lucas) Gosewehr. Gary graduated class of 1974 from Port Washington High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Milton College. He had a lifelong love of sports and especially enjoyed playing softball and golf. Gary was a dedicated longtime employee at Hayes Brakes in Mequon. Gary is survived by his three children: Greg Gosewehr, Stephanie (Justin) Urban, Matthew Gosewehr, beloved grandson Jameson Urban, siblings: Pamela (Daniel) Schmitz, Randy "Rudy" Gosewehr, Ronda (Allan) Haasch, Jodi (Randy) Rausch and Jackie (Gary) Barribeau. He is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Gary is preceded in death by his parents John and Marilyn and Marilyn's longtime companion Earl Abramowski. Gary's family will celebrate his life on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Hawthorne Hills Golf Course (4720 County Road I Saukville, WI 53080) from 2-5:00 PM.
