GARY A. CHANEY Mr. Gary Chaney of County Trunk I in the town of Saukville passed away Saturday afternoon March 22 2008 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon. He was 63 years old. Gary was born October 17 1944 in Milwaukee the son of Jerome and Fern Anderson Chaney. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War where he specialized in communications. On June 1 1968 he married Rosa Lodi at Ignatious Loyola in Milwaukee. Gary was currently working in sales for Mercha nt Services but had previously been the owner and president of Future Machine Tool Corp. Mr. Chaney was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Saukville where he sang in the mixed choir and played guitar. He was a talented musician who wrote songs sang and played numerous instruments including harmonica piano banjo and guitar. Mr. Chaney had a registered monarch habitat in his backyard and loved all animals particularly horses. He enjoyed fishing antiques and video recording his family and friends. Gary is survived by his wife Rosa and their two sons Alexander of Saukville and Mark of Dousman. He is also survived by four siblings: Wayne (Elaine) Chaney of Green Lake Theodore (Sharon) Chaney of Seattle WA Gloria Clements and John Chaney of Santa both of Santa Barbara CA; parents-in-law Alessandro and Concetta Lodi of Milwaukee; brothers and sisters-in-law Maria (Bart) Viscuso of Greenfield William (Fay) Lodi of Lomira Sal (Patti) Lodi and Stella (Tim) Jackson both of Atlanta GA. He is further survived by uncles aunts nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday March 28th 11 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 145 W. Church St. Saukville. Father Carl Acker will officiate. Visitation will be at the CHURCH on Friday from 10-11 AM. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saukville. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated.
