Gail M. Santarius of Belgium passed away at her home on Saturday, February 5, 2022. She was 64 years old. Gail was born in Milwaukee on May 6, 1957, daughter of Robert and Monica (nee Kowalski) Brycki. She grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Hamilton High School, Class of 1975. After graduating, Gail attended college and earned an associate degree as a Paralegal. On August 23, 1986, Gail was united in marriage with Jeffrey Santarius in Milwaukee. The couple lived in Long Lake before moving to the Random Lake area. They later moved to Belgium where they raised their three children. Mrs. Santarius was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish and later a member of St. Mary's Lake Church and Divine Savior Parish. She loved riding her horse and taking care of her German Shepherds, but she enjoyed all animals. Gail was an avid reader and enjoyed arts and crafts. Gail is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Jeffrey, children Autumn Rose (fiancée Adam Ferraino), Grant (Mataya) Santarius, and Starr Noel (boyfriend Luke Freeland). She is further survived by 2 grandchildren, Gwenevere Santarius and Malaki Ferraino, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
