Fred Sanders of Manitowoc passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday January 2 2015 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay. He was 73 years old. Fred was born in Milwaukee son of George Sanders and Mary Bannach Sanders. On October 7 1961 he married Pearl Roth in Cudahy. Fred worked as a union drywaller for various unions in Wisconsin California Colorado and Nevada. In the late 1980's Fred and his wife Pearl ran the Red Rooster Tavern in Stevens Point. Fred loved his dogs and enjoyed golfing gaming cooking and playing cards with his family. In his earlier years Fred and Pearl loved traveling especially to Hawaii and also deer hunting with his brothers. Fred is survived by his beloved bride of 53 years Pearl of Manitowoc his three sons Fred (Nadine) Sanders of Appleton Rich (Sandy) Sanders of Plymouth and Jim (Pam) Sanders of West Bend. He is further survived by 9 grandchildren 19 great-grandchildren his brother Collin Joe (Kathy) Sanders of Stevens Point three sisters Jean Skrentny of Indiana Diane (Terry) West of Sussex and Charlene Chuckie Lopez of Milwaukee nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. Fred was preceded in death by his parents George and Mary Sanders his son Keith Sanders and four brothers John Al Brian and Bob Sanders. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 10th 1 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1167 Washington Ave Cedarburg. Deacon Tom Surges will preside over the service. Visitation will take place on Saturday January 10th at the funeral home from 11 AM until the time of services at 1 PM. The Eernisse Funeral Home Cedarburg is honored to serve the family.
