Obituary

Fred W. Gilomen Mr. Fred Gilomen of Upper Ridge Road in the Town of Port Washington passed away at his cottage in Door County on Monday August 24 2009. He was 83 years old. Fred was born on June 18 1926 in Milwaukee the son of Fred and Lorena Stephan Gilomen. On August 27 1949 he was united in marriage with Nancy Wood in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death in 2003. Fred was employed at Heinn Co. of Wisconsin (currently Heinn Chapman Corporation) from 1951 to 1988 and served as President for 20 years. Mr. Gilomen was a longtime member of First Congregational Church in Port Washington. Fred enjoyed fishing golfing painting reading and working with stained glass. He was passionate about nature and the outdoors and loved planting sapling trees. Fred is survived by his two children Mary (Mike) Bansemar of Milwaukee and Fredric J. Gilomen of Port Washington. He is further survived by 2 grandsons Shawn (Melissa) and Eric Bansemar 1 nephew Mark (Linda) Harpke 1 niece Laurie (Chris) Allen 2 cousins Sandra Peterson and Kathy Hayden great-nephews: Joshua (Lauren) and Andrew Harpke and Matthew (Lisa) Scott and Brian Allen other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy infant son Frederic and infant daughter Sue Ellen. A Memorial Service will be held at First Congregational Church 131 N. Webster St. in Port Washington on Sunday August 30 2009 at 3PM. Pastor Jeff Suddendorf will officiate. The family will receive visitors at church on Sunday from 2-3PM. Memorials are appreciated to the ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter in Brookfield or the Birch Creek Music Performance Center in Egg Harbor WI. br /Service:br /pspan style=\A Memorial Service will be held at First Congregational Church 131 N.
