Obituary

Franklin Arthur Kieselhorst of Saukville, entered glory on October 7, 2022 at the age of 87, eternally held in the arms of his Good Shepherd. Born on December 18, 1934 in Valders, WI, Frank was the son of Werner and Regina (Lenz) Kieselhorst. He was baptized in the name of the Triune God on December 26, 1934. He married the love of his life Helen Ehlers on July 9, 1957 and together they had two children.

Frank grew up on a farm in Valders. He graduated from Valders High School in 1952. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army Corps from 1954-1956. He and Helen moved to Cedarburg in 1964 where they raised their children. Frank owned and operated Credit Services in Cedarburg/Port Washington until 1980. He then pursued a career in building and real estate until his retirement in 1991. He and Helen moved to Newcastle WY and lived there for 30 years. Frank was well known in the community for helping his neighbors, often shoveling snow and mowing lawns for them, and taking on small projects. They moved back to Saukville last year to be closer to their family. Frank happily took part in the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight on September 10, 2022.

Frank will remain in the hearts of his wife Helen, his children Ralph (Stephanie) Kieselhorst of Saukville and, Lori (Mark) Schommer of Muskego; grandchildren Karl Kieselhorst, Kristen (Peter) Kimzey, Danielle Kieselhorst and Kurt (Erica) Kieselhorst, Paul Schommer, and Brett (Jessica) Schommer; great-granddaughter Grace Kieselhorst; sisters-in-law Jennifer Kieselhorst and Rita Kieselhorst. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Donna (Leonard) Buck, Larry, Ronald (Lila), and Roger Kieselhorst and granddaughter Ingrid Kieselhorst.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church (1525 N Grant, Port Washington, WI 53074). The family will receive visitors at the church from 9:00AM until the time of service. Frank will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery on South Main St., Saukville

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church.
