Obituary

FRANK P. VRUBLEY JR. Mr. Frank Vrubley of Belgium passed away at his residence early Monday morning February 17 2014. He was 79 years old. Frank was born in Sheboygan on December 20 1934 son of Frank and Agnes Belekevich Vrubley. He attended Holy Name grade school and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School with the Class of 1953 leaving shortly thereafter for the US Navy Reserves. On September 3 1963 Frank was united in marriage with Janice Kultgen in Sheboygan. The couple moved to Cedar Grove and in 1966 to Belgium where they settled down and raised their family. Mr. Vrubley worked as a truck driver at Krier Preserving in Belgium until the early 1980's and then drove for Johnson Brass in Saukville for 8 years. Later he drove for Lamer's Bus. Frank was a member of Divine Savior Parish St. Mary Chapel. He enjoyed bowling a good game of cards especially cribbage or sheepshead but his passion was golf. At family gatherings he liked to play horseshoes and be in charge of the grilling: he was known as quite the Grillmaster. Frank also enjoyed trips to the casino with his wife and friends to try his hand at the slots and bingo. While at home Mr. Vrubley liked to feed and watch the birds in his yard and watch local sports teams like the Packers and Brewers; no game was complete without a big bowl of popcorn. In his younger days Frank also dabbled in accordion playing. Frank enjoyed watching his children excel in sports. Even during his battle with Alzheimer's he continued to watch his grandchildren play as long as he was able. He is survived by his loving wife Janice daughters Sandy (Bob) Vrubley - Rassel of Waubeka Lori (Terry) Voskuil of Cedar Grove Renee Vrubley of Maple Grove MN and his son Jeffrey (Deb) Vrubley also of Cedar Grove. Frank is further survived by 7 grandchildren: Cole Dan Jordon Nic Abby Jeffrey and Lydia great-grandson Dominic and sister Jean (Jack) Flynn of Milwaukee. Other survivors include brothers- and sisters-in -law: Tom (Marsha) Kultgen of Sheboygan Michael (Donna) Kultgen of Fredonia Rick (Ruth) Kultgen of Port Washington Joan Schommer of Belgium Linda Kultgen of Sussex and Missy Kultgen of Boston MA nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents parents-in-law Alvin Anna Kultgen brother Bill (the late Judi) Vrubley brothers-in-law Alvin (the late Jean) and Robert Kultgen and sister-in-law Elizabeth Kultgen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2PM on Saturday February 22nd at Divine Savior St. Mary Chapel Lake Church. Father Todd Budde will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Saturday from11AM until services at 2PM. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association Sharon S. Richardson Hospice or to Divine Savior Catholic School. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. The family wishes to thank Dr. Mark Fitzsimmons and his staff at Aurora Medical Clinic- Port Washington Sharon S. Richardson Hospice and Cheryl Bryan for their compassion and kindness during Frank's fight with Alzheimer's.
