Obituary

Frank E. Bednarek of Grafton formerly of Saukville and Milwaukee passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 29 2009 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 63 years old. Frank was born September 4 1945 in Marshfield the son of Edmund and Lorina Carlson Bednarek. He grew up on his familyrsquo;s farm in Stetsonville and attended Dor-Abbey High School. He came to Milwaukee in 1965 to work for Continental Can and retired there after 25 years. He then worked at Ball Container Corp in Milwaukee before retiring in June of 2008. Frank was united in marriage to Dawn (nee Klix) Kells on March 30 2000 in Las Vegas. Mr. Bednarek was a member of St. Peterrsquo;s United Church of Christ in Saukville the West Bend H.O.G. Chapter and a lifetime member of the Saukville Gun Club. He enjoyed trapshooting and riding his motorcycle. Frank is survived by his wife Dawn of Grafton his step-son Matt Kells of Mukwonago and his step-daughter Angie (nee Kells) Klug of Port Washington. He is further survived by three grandchildren: Mick and Maddy Mae Kells and Xander Klug two sisters: Ann (Charles) Murphy of Georgia and Karen (Paul) Chauvin of Virginia 2 sisters-in-law: Norene Schraufnagel of New Berlin and Sally Lilly of Whitewater other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Edmund and Lorina and his first wife Sandy Bednarek. A Celebration of Frankrsquo;s life will be held at St. Peterrsquo;s United Church of Christ 166 W. Dekora St. in Saukville on Tuesday evening June 2 2009 at 7PM. The family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday evening from 4:30PM till the time of services at 7PM. He will be laid to rest at North Prairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in his honor may be given to St. Peterrsquo;s United Church of Christ or the Saukville Gun Club.
