FRANCES A. SOLMS Mrs. Frances Solms of Milwaukee St. in Fredonia passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday afternoon June 25 2005. She was 89 years old. Frances was born on March 7 1916 in Port Washington daughter of John and Mary Leider Jacque. She was united in marriage with Aloysius Solms at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington on October 15 1938. The couple moved to Fredonia where they settled and raised their family. Aloys preceded her in death in 1998. Frances was a member of Holy Rosary Parish St. Rose Chapel in Fredonia and belonged to the Christian Women and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Mrs. Solms was a homemaker who loved her family. She was a wonderful cook and liked to have family parties and celebrations. She was a master gardener - everything bloomed and flourished for her. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed playing poker and sheepshead bowling and occasional trips to the casino. She is survived by her three children: Robert Solms of Fredonia Louise (Jack) Fellenz of Saukville and Irene (Lawrence) Tuchscherer of Kokomo IN. She is further survived by 6 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren 2 step-great-grandchildren 1 brother Albert (Loretta) Jacque of Elkhorn nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband their daughter Carole 2 brothers: Theodore and Edward Jacque and 5 sisters: Helen Kies Mayme Pradjinski Elsie Roskopf Florence Neuens and Johanna Lecher. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday June 28 leaving from the Funeral Home at 7PM going to Holy Rosary St. Rose Chapel Fredonia for Mass at 7:30 PM. Fr. Neil Zinthefer will officiate. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home (1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington) on Tuesday June 28th from 4PM-7PM.
