Frances M. Clancy (nee Galipo) of Cedarburg, Wisconsin and Deltona, Florida, was born to Eternal Life on January 9, 2026, at the age of 88. Dearly loved mother of Michelle Schneider (Timothy) and granddaughter Christina Foeger. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Peter, her parents Anthony and Mary Galipo (nee Mollica), brothers Frank (Darlene), Charles (Irene), Salvatore (Frances), Anthony Galipo and sister Carmella "Milly" Di Motto. Further survived by brother-in-law Michael Di Motto and many wonderful friends and relatives.
'Honey' as her family called her, was born on November 22, 1937, and grew up in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. She earned her degree in Cosmetology in 1957 and worked with hundreds of clients in the North Shore and Ozaukee County for over six decades. In 1960 she married Peter, the love of her life.
Born with a spirit of awe and wonder, nothing could stop her, she lived her life to the fullest. She enjoyed traveling the world with her family, riding her treasured horse, downhill skiing, playing tennis, golf, pickleball and ziplining into her 80's.
Fran will be greatly missed for her feisty attitude, 'Italian Mama' hospitality, her fabulous cooking and Italian cookie baking. With her genuine conviviality, she was a devoted friend and wonderful hostess. She will be deeply missed by all who crossed her path.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia Church-North, 1375 Covered Bridge Rd, Cedarburg, WI 53012. The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Fr. Michael Barrett officiating. Burial at the Church Cemetery to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Frances' name to the Alzheimer's Association Wisconsin Chapter for further research, are appreciated.
