Floyd E. Peters Jr. of Port Washington passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the age of 80. He was born in Milwaukee to Floyd Sr. and Lydia (nee Baker) Peters on September 7, 1939. He married the love of his life Ann Rose on April 11, 1959 and together they had four children.
Floyd proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Harley Davidson after 30 years of dedicated service. Floyd loved spending time with his family. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed gambling, jig-saw puzzles and will always be remembered for being a great cook.
Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Floyd is survived by his wife Ann Peters of 60 years, his children, Sabrina Prinsen, Mike (Kim) Peters, Eric "Rick" Peters and Cindy (Mark) Zoellner; sister-in law, Karen (Mose) Waldner. He is further survived by 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, mother-in-law Lenore Radtke, daughter-in-law Ann K. Peters and grandson Josh Coslett.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6PM on Friday December 27, 2019 at Eernisse Funeral Home (1600 W Grand Ave. Port Washington, WI 53074). The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 4-6PM.
