Florence Loof (nee Mueller) was called to her eternal home on Thursday, February 15, 2018. Florence was born on the family farm in the Town of Saukville on November 12, 1915 to Henry and Dorothy (nee Wollner) Mueller. She attained the age of 102. On November 28, 1942 Florence and Sylvester Loof were united in marriage at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville, WI. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1992. Florence attended the local grade school and was part of the Port Washington High School graduating class of 1933. She raised her children and later worked outside the home. After retirement, Florence enjoyed gardening and took pride in the genealogy research she obtained on both sides of her family. She remained very active into her late nineties. Florence especially loved cooking big dinners during the holidays and spending time with her family. She will be forever missed by those who knew and loved her. Mrs. Loof is survived by her Children Shirley (the late Richard) Krier of Cedarburg and Dennis (Jean) Loof of Saukville; grandchildren, Barbara Batzko of Cedarburg, Steven (Ruth) Krier of Kenosha, Brian (Rebecca) Krier of Waukesha, Shannon (Lori) Loof of Cedarburg; great-grandchildren, Gabbie and Natalie Batzko, Plinky, Rhena, Chase, and Asiah Krier, Autumn and Tatum Krier, Elizabeth and Emily Loof; great great-grandson, Carter Krier. She is further survived by brothers, Elroy (Audrey) Mueller of Mesa, AZ, Ronald (the late Mary Ellen) Mueller of Whitefish, MO, Henry (the late Lorraine) Mueller of Saukville; sister, Marilyn (Eugene) Kirmse of Saukville; sisters-in-law, Sue Mueller of Saukville and Marie Loof of West Allis, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Clarence, Florian (Inge), and Kenneth Mueller; sisters, Henrietta (Robert) Sheldon, Rosalyn (Bud) Holler and Dolores (Richard) Gahan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30AM on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville. Father Guy Gurath will preside. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH from 10:00AM until the time of service. Interment at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Immaculate Conception Church or a charity of your choice.
