F. CARL MINTZLAFF Mr. Carl Mintzlaff formerly of 11th Ave. in Grafton passed away on June 25 2008 at his residence at Harbor Village in Port Washington. He was 81 years old. Carl was born November 30 1926 in Grafton son of Alfred and Selma Bruss Mintzlaff. After graduating from high school he joined the Merchant Marines and became a radio operator. After the war he joined his father in the lumber and feed business. He was united in marriage with Joyce Edmark at St. Paulrsquo;s Lutheran Church in Grafton on August 28 1948. Later he became an inspector for various construction companies. Carl is survived by his wife Joyce sisters Margaret Bevington of Scottsdale AZ and Ethel Bourque of Cummings GA sons Paul (Jeanne) of Greenville WI David (Tricia) of Kalama WA and Kurt (Diana) of Milwaukee. He is further survived by 3 grandsons: Chad Ian and Joseph nieces nephews and other relatives. Gravesides services will be held at St. Paulrsquo;s Cemetery in Grafton on Wednesday July 2nd at 11 AM.Pastor John Suelflow will officiate.Memorials in Carlrsquo;s name may be sent to St. Paulrsquo;s Lutheran Church Organ Fund or to the school band.
