Evelyn M. Rinn (nee Harns) of Port Washington passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 7, 2021. She was 88 years old. Evelyn was born the daughter of James and Beatrice Harns on September 9, 1933 in the Town of Trenton. She was united in marriage to Charles Rinn at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington on January 8, 1955.
Evelyn's first employment was as a telephone operator. She retired from Power Products/Tecumseh after 10 years of dedicated service. Later she worked at Walmart in Saukville as a cashier where she made many friends and thoroughly enjoyed her time there. Evelyn and her husband traveled extensively after his retirement, always with their golf clubs. They enjoyed their daily breakfasts at the River Edge Restaurant in Saukville, a tradition she continued after his passing. She will be missed by those who enjoyed her company at the "Truck Stop".
Evelyn is survived by many nieces and nephews and her many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles; siblings Jeanette, Edith, Dorothy and Richard and their spouses.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 6:00Pm on Friday, November 19, 2021 at St. John XXIII Catholic Parish, St. Peter of Alcantara Church site in Port Washington. Visitation will be at the church from 4:00pm until the time of service. Evelyn will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Mary's Cemetery.
