Evelyn Dawn Post Evelyn Post of Port Washington formerly of Mountain passed away into the arm of her Lord on Friday morning July 17 2015 at her residence. She was 78 years old. Evelyn was born in Binghamton NY on September 9 1936 daughter of Ralph Nelson and Helen Clift Nelson. On a summer vacation she met Robert Post who was on leave from the US Navy. The couple married in Waukegan IL on April 26 1963. Evelyn enjoyed working outside the home but her true calling was being a homemaker to her four rambunctious boys. She was a member of Tabor Lutheran Church in Mountain the Indian Hills Snowmobile Club and REACT Radio Team of Ozaukee County. She also enjoyed volunteering with the Cub/Boy Scouts the 4-H Club knitting reading and photography. Evelyn is survived by her three sons Ronald (Dawn) Post of Cedarburg Kenneth Post and William Post both of Grafton four grandchildren: Elizabeth Timothy Jacob and Corbin other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert and her son Michael. Funeral services will be held on Friday July 24th at 7 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1167 Washington Ave. in Cedarburg. Rev. Paul Bulgerin of Grace Lutheran Church will preside. Evelyn will be laid to rest next to her husband and son on July 25th at 1 PM at Mountain Cemetery Mountain WI. Visitation will take place at the Funeral Home on Friday July 24th from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated. The Eernisse Funeral Home Cedarburg is honored to serve the family.
