Eunice Paulin age 86 years of Cedarburg died Thursday March 20 2014 at her residence. She was born August 17 1927 in Milwaukee daughter of the late Fred and Lora (nee Wesenberg) Rothweiler. After graduating from Wisconsin State Teachers College in Stevens Point Eunice worked as an elementary school teacher in Menomonee Falls Milwaukee and for many years in Cedarburg retiring in 1986. On November 24 1960 she married John Paulin at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Cedarburg as well as Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority and the Ozaukee County Area Retired Educators Association (OCAREA). Eunice enjoyed needlework and reading and was instrumental in starting the Visitors Center in Cedarburg. Survivors include her husband John nieces and nephews Michael A. (Pamela) Henning Sr. Mary Brown Shelley Schermer and Kurt Henze great nieces and nephews Michael A. (Carrie) Henning Jr. David Brown and Jessica (Rick) Eddy 10 great great nieces and nephews cousins other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Ottilie Henze and June Brown. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 25 5 PM at Eernisse Funeral Home 1167 Washington Ave. Cedarburg with Pastor John Norquist of Faith Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Borgia Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home Tuesday from 3-5 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials to Faith Lutheran Church or Cedarburg Public Library appreciated.
