Eugenia Marian Rankin ldquo;Jeannerdquo; Eugenia Rankin was born at Prairieton Indiana on March 25 1908 daughter of George and Eva Shaffer Jones.nbsp;nbsp;She attended Hanover College in Hanover Indiana.nbsp;nbsp;On March 26 1930 she married Harry Rankin in Jeffersonville Indiana.nbsp;nbsp;The couple moved to Milwaukee WI where she raised her two children Donald and Marjorie.nbsp;nbsp;She attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee graduating in 1965 with a degree in Special Education.nbsp;nbsp;She taught at Story School in Milwaukee retiring in 1974.nbsp;nbsp;The couple moved to Ocala FL.nbsp;nbsp;Harry preceded her in death in 1992.nbsp;nbsp;She then moved to Arlington Heights Il to be with her family.nbsp;nbsp;She was a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church in Arlington Heights and a former member of Perserverance Presbyterian Church in Milwaukee.nbsp;nbsp;She enjoyed painting in oil crocheting and reading.nbsp;nbsp;She is survived by her daughter Marjorie (Sam) Leopardo of Arlington Heights Il two granddaughters Elizabeth (Rodney) Driscoll of Cincinnati Ohio and Kathryn (Frank) Asen of Cary Il five great grandchildren Leah Eric Colin Sarah and Adam nieces nephews great nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.nbsp;nbsp;She was preceded in death by an infant son Harry son Donald husband Harry four sisters and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Friday April 29 at West Granville Presbyterian Church 6935 N. 107th St. Milwaukee. She will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin. Visitation will be at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1167 Washington Ave. in Cedarburg on Thursday April 28 from 7-9PM and at West Granville Presbyterian Church on Friday April 29 from 10-11AM.
