EUGENE NELSON Mr. Eugene Nelson of Sunset Road in Port Washington passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday November 12 2014. He was 60 years old. Eugene was born in Port Washington on July 28 1954 son of Kenneth and Mabel Lorge Nelson. He attended local schools and then enlisted in the US Army serving during the Viet Nam War. Eugene worked as a painter in Florida before moving back to Wisconsin settling in Port Washington in 2012. Mr. Nelson was an avid movie watcher and enjoyed listening to music. He was an animal lover and was especially attentive to his dog Angel. Eugene is survived by his brother Keith (Glenda) Nelson of Sheboygan and four sisters: Shirley (Ken) Swanson of Cedar Grove Lois (William) Watson of Greenfield IN Linda (Mark) Wadman also of Greenfield IN and Kay (Bob) Flanders of Belgium. He is further survived by nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents various aunts uncles and cousins. Graveside services and Military Honors will be held at 2PM on Monday November 17th at Union Cemetery in Port Washington; Eugene will be laid to rest beside his parents.
