Eugene Gene Kester Of Cedarburg passed away at his residence on July 4 2011 at the age of 83. He was born April 12 1928 in Antigo son of Kenneth and Elizabeth Schroepfer Kester. Eugene served in the US Navy during WW II. In 1957 he began his career at EST Company in Grafton rising to President and General Manager in 1982 and retiring in 1996. On June 8 1983 he married Sandra Drzewiecki. Survivors include his wife Sandra children Linda Kester of Fond du Lac and James (Renee) Kester of Rockford MI five grandchildren two great grandchildren two brothers Edward (Rita) Kester of Watertown and Donald (Barbara) Kester of Sussex his sister Elizabeth Fausek of West Allis nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his former wife Dolores son Richard daughter Eugenie and two brothers Ralph and Richard. Visitation Friday July 8 3-6 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1167 Washington Ave. Cedarburg with a service at 6 PM. Private entombment Wisconsin Memorial Park Brookfield. In lieu of flowers memorials to Disabled American Veterans appreciated.
