Obituary

ETHEL ANN PIERRON Mrs. Ethel Pierron, of the Town of Belgium, passed away at Columbia-St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon on Monday morning, October 19, 2015. She was 87 years old.Ethel was born in Port Washington on July 10, 1928, daughter of Alfred and Agnes Lorge Zausch. She attended local schools before graduating from Port Washington High School with the Class of 1948.On September 16, 1950, Ethel was united in marriage with Eugene Pierron at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. The couple settled on the farm in the Town of Belgium. Ethel worked as a waitress at Meyer Hotel (currently Port Hotel) for awhile before the couple started their family. In their younger days Gene & Ethel ran The Beach Bar (currently Cedar Beach Bar). Gene preceded her in death in 2013. Mrs. Pierron was a member of Divine Savior Parish and a long-time member of the Christian Women. Ethel loved football, especially the Green Bay Packers and any college games. She enjoyed gambling trips, Bingo, game shows and taking care of her family. Her cooking was enjoyed by many and will be missed, especially her German potato salad, raspberry desserts and her old -fashioned mix. Ethel is survived by six children: William Pierron of Plymouth, Jeffrey Pierron of Belgium, Patricia (Greg) Huettner of Grafton, Paul (Vicki) Pierron of Random Lake, John Pierron of Belgium, Jodi (Bret) Buechler of Oostburg and the late Dennis Pierron. She is further survived by 12 grandchildren, sisters Marge (Richard) Bichler and Barb (Stan) Janeshek, both of Port Washington, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Eugene and son Dennis, sister Mary Jane Rigazzi and brothers William, Robert and James Zausch. Funeral Services will be held at 4PM at Divine Savior- Holy Cross (5332 Hwy B, Town of Belgium) on Sunday, October 25. Father Jim Ernster will preside. She will be inurned at Holy Cross Cemetery the following morning. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Sunday from 2-4PM. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family.
