Ethel C. DatzMrs. Ethel Datz formerly of Lake Church passed away Sunday evening February 13 2011 at Belgium Gardens where she had resided the last 6 years. She was 84 years old. Ethel was born August 8 1926 in Milwaukee the daughter of Elmer and Lillian Witt Senft. She was united in marriage with Stephan Datz on June 27 1953 in Hales Corners. He preceded her in death in 1982. The couple owned the Triangle Trio Bar and Hall in Milwau`kee for 10 years where Ethelrsquo;s mother Lillian helped with catering. In 1972 they moved to Lake Church to take over Ethelrsquo;s father Elmer Senftrsquo;s bar Elmer and Annrsquo;s. The bar was renamed Steve and Ethelrsquo;s and the couple ran the bar for 10 years. Mrs. Datz had been a member of Port View Christian Center. She enjoyed socializing and playing cards. Ethel is survived by her sons Steve (Ellen) Datz of Grafton and Edward (Renea) Datz of Belgium. She is further survived by her step-son Taras Datz of California grandson Steve other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday February 19 2011 at Eernisse Funeral Home 171 N. Royal Ave. in Belgium. The family will receive visitors on Saturday morning form 9-11AM at the funeral home. Ethel will be laid to rest at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
