Ethel Ann Schuessler Depies The Lord peacefully called Ethel Ann Depies 72 of 7261 Luxemburg Lane Dacada to heaven on Wednesday November 5 2003. She was born in the Town of Fredonia on February 28 1931 the daughter of the late Norbert and Sedonia Schuessler. On June 17 1950 she married Richard E. Depies at St. Nicholas Catholic Church Dacada. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June of 2000. They farmed on the Depies homestead in the Town of Fredonia retiring in 1992. They enjoyed their retired years living in Dacada. Mrs. Depies was a member of the Our Lady of the Lakes Parish St. Nicholas Chapel Dacada the Christian Mothers Society various card clubs and volunteer organizations. She was a very dedicated member of the St. Nicholas Choir for over 60 years. She was known for her incredible flower gardens beautifully decorated cakes love of travel and her never-ending energy and giving spirit for her family friends and community. Survivors include her husband Richie and 7 children; Terry (Linda) of Antigo Tom (Mary) of Sherman Center Rick of Dacada Jeff (Theresa) of Springbrook Pat (Misti) of Dacada Sherri (Mark) Orth of Oconto and Cindy (Keith) Streitenberger of Merton. Nineteen grandchildren; Craig Stacy (Steve) Freddy Shawn Kevin Mike Marsha Ashley Adam Amanda Kristen Kari Ivy Ed Norbert Jerome Ambrose Brittni and Brandin. Great-grandchildren; Camden and Chase. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother Bud. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30AM. on Monday November 10 at St. Nicholas Chapel Dacada. Fr. Richard Cerpich will be the celebrant. Visitation will be at the Eernisse Funeral Home (171 N. Royal Ave.) Belgium on Sunday November 9 from 4 -8PM and Monday November 10 9:30-10:30 AM at the church. Burial will be in the St. Nicholas cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in Ethel Ann's name with the American Heart Assn. and the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Richie and his family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Matthews his wonderful staff and the compassionate nurses of the St. Nicholas Home Health and Hospice.
