ESTHER E. FRANZKE Mrs. Esther Franzke a resident of Luther Manor in Milwaukee formerly of Port Washington passed away at Luther Manor Tuesday morning November 23 2004. She was 87 years old. Esther was born in the Town of Port Washington on June 17 1917 daughter of Henry and Anna Rick Meins. She was united in marriage with Lloyd Frankze on June 19 1937 in Port Washington. Esther was a member of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church in Port Washington. She was a former volunteer at St. Alphonsus Hospital and a former member of EMBA. Esther took a lot of pride in always having a clean house. She also enjoyed water aerobics traveling and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son Denny (Virginia) of Port Washington 2 grandchildren Brian (Anita) Franzke of Saukville and Kris (Michael Kellogg) Franzke of Milwaukee and 6 great-grandchildren: Elaine Evelle Emily and Elizabeth Franzke and Maggie and Liam Kellogg. She is further survived by 1 sister Florence (the late Henry) Rau of Sheboygan Falls nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd and 2 brothers Lester and Erwin Meins. Funeral Services will be held Monday November 29 2004 7PM at Grand Ave. United Methodist Church 505 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. Pastor David Guse will officiate. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at THE CHURCH Monday from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Grand Avenue United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association. Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family.
