Ervin W. Schlenvogt Ervin Erv Schlenvogt age 65 years of Port Washington died suddenly Wednesday May 29 2013 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. He was born July 20 1947 in Milwaukee son of Ervin A. and Emma Geuder Schlenvogt. After serving in the U.S. Army Erv worked as a certified diesel mechanic for various truck dealerships. He started as an over the road truck driver in the 1970's. On January 19 1991 he married Dawn Miller at Friedens Church in Port Washington. He recently retired from Kruepke Trucking in Jackson. Erv was a member of Friedens Evangelical Church and enjoyed fishing traveling and spending time walking his dog Beasley on the Lake Michigan beach and at the dog park. He loved drinking coffee while visiting with his family and many friends. Survivors include his wife Dawn. son Dennis (Candice) Schlenvogt of Denver CO step-daughter Tracey (Mike) Morgan 5 step-grandchildren cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral Friday evening June 7 7 PM at Friedens Evangelical Church 454 N. Milwaukee St. Port Washington. Interment Union Cemetery. In state at the CHURCH Friday from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials to Ozaukee Humane Society appreciated. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
