Ervin ldquo;Ervrdquo; Schlenvogt age 101 years of Port Washington died Monday November 2 2009 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg where he has lived for the past five years.nbsp; He was born May 7 1908 in Little Kohler Town of Fredonia son of Emil and Elizabeth Kranz Schlenvogt.nbsp; On December 22 1934 he married Emma ldquo;Bettyrdquo; Geuder in Milwaukee.nbsp; She preceded him in death in 1989.nbsp; Ervin served in the US Army during WW II.nbsp; After returning from the Army he worked as an auto mechanic at Bluemound Auto Service in Milwaukee until retiring in 1973.nbsp; He was a member of Friedens Evangelical Church in Port Washington anbsp; lifetime member of Ozaukee Lodge #17 F amp; AM in Port Washington and the American Legion.nbsp; He enjoyed playing sheepshead at the Port Washington Senior Center. Survivors include his son Ervin W. (Dawn) Schlenvogt of Port Washington two grandchildren Dennis (Candice) Schlenvogt of Denver CO and Tracy (Mike) Morgan of Clearwater FL. five great grandchildren his sister in law Arlene Schlenvogt of Port Washington nieces nephews other relatives and friends.nbsp; He was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.nbsp; Funeral Saturday November 7 2 PM at Friedens Evangelical Church in Port Washington.nbsp; Burial with full military honors will follow at Union Cemetery.nbsp; Visitation at the CHURCH Saturday from noon until time of services.nbsp; In lieu of flowers memorials to Friedens Church or Ozaukee Humane Society appreciated.nbsp; The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.br /Service:br /p2:00 PM at Friedens Evangelical Church 454 N.
