Koch Elsie M.\r\nMADISON/PHILLIPS ndash; Elsie M. Koch age 87 passed away on Friday Jan. 23 2009 at the Oakwood Village East Nursing Home in Madison. Elsie was born on Nov. 3 1921 in Grafton to Jacob and Theresa (Deppiesse) Medinger. She married Norbert Koch on March 22 1944. Before moving to Madison in 2005 she spent 15 years in Phillips where her husband had a real estate business and a Laundromat. She worked hard to support the family during difficult times and spent many years caring for her autistic son Steven. She is survived by her brothers Elmer (Gloria Casper) Medinger of Random Lake and Harvey (Margaret) Medinger of Cedar Grove; her sister LaVerne ldquo;Vernierdquo; Shupe of Milwaukee; sons John (Mary Anglim) of Madison and Tom (Teena Parduhn) of Reno Nev.; grandchildren David and Sarah of Reno Nev.; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents her husband Norbert and her son Steven. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11AM on Saturday June 13 2009 at Our Lady of the Lakes St. Nicholas Chapel W4274 Hwy K in Dacada WI. Father Richard Fleishman will officiate. Inurnment will follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Oakwood Village East and to her doctors at UW-Health.
