Elsa Corrigan Mrs. Elsa Corrigan of Port Washington and formerly of De Pere passed away Sunday evening January 4 2015 at Sarah Chudnow Community in Mequon. She was 79 years old. Elsa was born August 9 1935 in Bogota Colombia in South America the daughter of Carlos and Elvira (nee Leyva) Jacobsen. On December 7 1957 she was united in marriage with Howard Corrigan. He preceded her in death on October 14 1994. Elsa was a member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Port Washington and formerly of St. Francis Xavier Parish of De Pere. Elsa is survived by 5 children: Valerie (Mauricio Marino) Corrigan of De Pere Frederick Corrigan of Green Bay Ingrid Anne Corrigan of Green Bay Anne Marie (Camilo Gacharna) Corrigan of Madison and Paul (Sandra Tascon) Corrigan of Port Washington. She is further survived by 8 grandchildren: Andrea (Jake) Steimle Monica Marino Catalina Marino Felipe Gacharna Carlos Eduardo Gacharna Laura Gacharna David Corrigan and Sofia Corrigan great-grandson Everett Steimle one brother Fred Jacobsen and two sisters: Alice Kennedy and Helena Arango all of Colombia nieces nephews other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Saturday January 10 at Allouez Catholic Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum 2121 Riverside Dr. in Green Bay. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to a charity of the donor's choice. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
