Elmer V. Nelson Mr. Elmer V. Nelson of County Road N in Waldo passed away Saturday July 24 2010 at his residence. He was 76 years old. Elmer was born November 16 1933 in Burlington the son of Emil and Anna Milatz Nelson. He was employed at American Motors in Milwaukee for over 26 years. Upon retirement Elmer moved to Florida where he lived for over 20 years. He recently moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to his family. Elmer was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing at various locations in Sheboygan County and casinos in the area. He had enjoyed fishing and hunting and traveling with his family to the Chippewa Flowage near Hayward where they camped and fished. Elmer is survived by 6 children: Robert (Diane) Nelson of Cedar Grove Debra (Jay) Ralston of Belgium Lindalee (Kurt) Keller of Waldo Sheryl (Rick) Weinrich of Fredonia Doreen (Jeff) Bransted of Reedsburg and Timothy (Donna) Nelson of Plymouth. He is further survived by 16 grandchildren 7 great-grandchildren one brother Alfred (Peggy) Nelson of New Port Richey FL one sister Sophie Nelson of Belvidere IL former wife Nancy Risch of Belgium nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents his grandson Ryan Tesch and special friend Jean Moss. A Memorial Service will be held at 7PM on Thursday July 29 at Eernisse Funeral Home 171 N.
