ELMER N. SCHNEIDER Elmer Schneider age 85 years of 122 W. Chestnut St. Port Washington died Saturday Feb. 24 2007 at his residence. He was born May 4 1921 in the Town of Port Washington son of the late Edwin and Julia Langers Schneider. He worked for a while at Gilson Foundry in Port Washington and later on the family farm in the Town of Grafton. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. Survivors include four brothers Leo (Janet) Schneider of Grafton Edwin Jr. (Virginia) Schneider of Town of Port Washington Cyril (Virginia) and Earl (Theresa) Schneider of Port Washington and two sisters Patricia (Harry) Jakobi of New Berlin and Ruth Schneider of Port Washington. He is further survived by nieces nephews great nieces and great nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents two sisters Maxine and Doris and two brothers Roman and Laverne. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday evening February 28 7 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington with Father Allan Sommer officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
