Elmer Hoffmann, 79, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025, while in hospice after a long hospital stay.

Elmer served in the Army, stationed in Germany during the Vietnam Era.

Elmer enjoyed working in the garden, cutting wood, taking walks, and reading western novels. He also looked forward to taking trips on his motorcycle and spending time with his kids and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Hoffmann; his children Daniel (Melissa) Hoffmann and Jesse (Brittany) Hoffmann; stepchildren Stephanie (Jeff) Maves and Kevin Novak; Siblings Jary Hoffmann, Ellen Cowan, Jayne Boeldt, Joel Hoffmann and Dale Hoffmann; Grandchild Anthony Hoffmann; step grandchildren Peyton and Blake Maves.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Erna Hoffmann and his brother, Daryl Hoffmann. He was also preceded in death by Susan Hoffmann, the mother of his children.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
