Elmer W. Ash of Port Washington, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2024. He was born October 7, 1940, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Elmer and Blacke (Moen) Ash.

Elmer was a long-time resident of Port Washington. His positive and friendly personality made him quick friends of those he met. He was a devoted sports fan watching every game possible of his beloved Brewers, Packers, Bucks and Badgers. He could be counted on to know the results of every game and the schedule of games to come. His interests connected him with others and brought happiness into his own life.

The friends of Elmer would like to thank the caretakers at Anita's Gardens, IGS/Prime Horizon and Portal Inc. for the great care and compassion they showed him over the years. Elmer was one of the first people to be involved with Portal Inc. Memorial donations should be sent to Portal Inc.

Elmer is preceded in death by his parents and sisters.

A memorial mass will take place at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, 451 N. Johnson Street, Port Washington. He will be laid to rest on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at St. Mary's Cemetery in Port Washington. A celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, August 3rd from 10:00 am to noon at IGS/Prime Horizon, 1000 North Wisconsin St. #4, Port Washington, WI 53074.
