Ellerd J Marshall, 77, of Belgium, WI, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at St Luke's hospital in Milwaukee. Ellerd was born in Ashland, WI on December 15, 1944. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Korea. Following his service Ellerd worked as a welder and a mechanic. Ellerd is survived by his three daughters: Jamie (Jon) Sullivan of Asheville, NC; Lori (Erick) Marshall of Waunakee, WI; and Joey (Christopher) Marshall of Kailua Kona, HI. Ellerd was grandfather to Luke, Benjamin, Xavier, Nina Lin, Madeline, and Samuel. He is also survived by three sisters Linda (Wayne) Sellung; of Amery, WI; Barbara (Richard) Tody of Sanborn, WI; Roberta (Tony) Basely of Ashland, WI; and sister-in-law Marie (Tony) Marshall of Plymouth, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents Ludmilla "Millie" Smith and Thomas Marshall; brothers Jack Marshall and Thomas "Tony" Marshall; and sisters Ludmilla "Ludy" Hokenson and Virginia Berweger. Ellerd enjoyed word puzzles and playing cribbage with his buddies. He will always be remembered for his bright smile, wonderful laugh, and love of a great joke.
