IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elizabeth A. "Beth"
Manian
August 16, 1943 – April 26, 2025
Elizabeth "Beth" Ann (Vernon) Manian, a longtime resident of Random Lake, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully and went to her heavenly home on April 26, 2025. Beth's life was deeply rooted in her Christian faith and her love for her family, friends and beloved late pup, Duffy. Beth enjoyed being active with her church, substitute teaching almost any subject and grade, working on the village board and performing with the local Rockin' Grannies. One of her favorite things was learning and talking with people. She spent many years earning her various college degrees and took great pride in that time. She also loved nature, especially looking out her kitchen window at her beautiful lake view, watching the hummingbirds she fed loyally, taking walks and seeing the seasons change.
Born on August 16th, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York, to her parents, Margaret "Peggy" and Robert "Red" Harvey, Beth moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin by the age of 3 and grew up there. Beth was united in marriage to her late husband, George Manian on June 29th, 1979.
Beth is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Norma) Manian, Kathy Madden, Heidi Geisler, Romy (Wade) Ayer and Megan (Romero) Manian. She found joy in seeing her grandchildren, Alex, Emma, Lucy, Justin, Charlie, Logan, Nikki, Jenna, Kasey, Scout and great grandchildren, McKenna, Kailyn, Jameson and Antwon. Beth loved her siblings, Donald Vernon, Kathryn (Jeff) Kost (nee Vernon), Richard (Dianna) Vernon, Margaret (Frank) LaRocca, AnneMarie (James) DesLonde, Robert Harvey, Mary (Richard) Grossman and Noreen (Rafael) Murga, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Beth was preceded in death by her husband, George Manian, her parents, Margaret and Robert Harvey, stepmother, Theresa, stepfather, Walter Vernon and her brothers Donald and Robert.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th from 4 PM to 6 PM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Random Lake, WI, followed by a service and dinner. She will be placed next to her late husband, George, on Friday, May 9th at 10 AM at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Memorials to Elizabeth's family and the Random Lake Association are appreciated.
