ELIZABETH C. BIEVER ELSIE Mrs. Elsie Biever of Hwy H in the Town of Port Washington passed away at her residence Thursday morning February 6 2014 at the peaceful age of 98 years. Elizabeth was born in the Town of Holland on September 28 1915 daughter of Nicholas and Magdalena Bierenbaum Feyereisen. She attended local schools and helped her family on the farm. On November 6 1937 she was united in marriage with John Biever at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. The couple settled on the Biever farmstead and started their family. John preceded her in death on March 25 1995. Elsie loved spending quality time with her family and took great pride in her homemaking skills; gardening canning sewing and baking. She was a great cook and also enjoyed working puzzles and playing cards preferring Sheepshead and Kings Corners over others. Mrs. Biever is survived by her seven children: Richard Biever of Port Washington Ronald (Diane) Biever of Mayville Elizabeth Betty (Alphonse) Kraemer Corinne (Glenn) Luebke both of Fredonia Nicholas Biever of Saukville Sharon (Steve) Crivello of Hingham and Lori (Peter) Gahan of Fredonia. She is further survived by 15 grandchildren 31 great-grandchildren brother Herman (Rosemary) Feyereisen of Belgium sister Genevieve Polenska of Waupun sister-in-law Rosalie Sally Feyereisen of Cedar Grove nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband 2 grandsons: Todd Kraemer and Martin Biever sister Leona Rupp and 2 brothers: Fr. Nicholas Feyereisen and Lawrence Feyereisen. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1PM on Monday February 10th at Divine Savior Holy Cross Chapel 5332 County Road B Belgium. Father Guy Garath will preside and Father Jim Ernster will con-celebrate. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Monday from 11AM until services at 1PM.
