ELEANORE C. YAX nbsp; Mrs. Eleanore Yax of Lakeside AZ passed away early Thursday morning September 3 2009 at a hospice center in Arizona.nbsp; She was 73 years old.nbsp; Eleanore was born in the Town of Fredonia on May 31 1936 daughter of William and Lena Jungers Biever.nbsp; She was united in marriage with James Yax in Las Vegas on June 28 1975.nbsp; Eleanore was a clerk with the City of Los Angels CA for 16 years retiring in 1990.nbsp; After that the couple moved to Idaho before settling in Arizona in 2002.nbsp; Mrs. Yax enjoyed a good bargain and had fun going to yard sales and flea markets.nbsp; She crocheted frequently making slippers that she would sell or give to others and also sewed and did crafts.nbsp; Eleanore also liked cooking baking and fishing being considered a ldquo;great catchrdquo;.nbsp; She is survived by her husband Jim of Lakeside AZ her stepson Dan (Karen) Yax of Omaha NE and three grandchildren Connor currently stationed in Iraq Michelle of Atlanta GA and James of Omaha.nbsp; She is further survived by 7 siblings: Shirley (Richard) Birenbaum of Cedar Grove Allen (Liliana) Biever of Port Washington Mary Ann (Walter) Thill of Fredonia Adelia (the late Richard) Hartman of Port Washington Luella (Steven) Harter of West Bend William (Rosanne) Biever of Fredonia and Gertrude (Gary) Carlson of Duluth MN numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.nbsp; She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Ellen.nbsp; A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Tuesday September 8th at Holy Rosary Parish Holy Cross Chapel Fredonia.
