ELEANORE T. KARTHEISER Mrs. Ellie Kartheiser currently of Fond du Lac formerly of Port Washington passed away in the early morning hours of Friday February 16 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She was 79 years old. Eleanore was born in Milwaukee on December 7 1927 the daughter of Karl and Frieda Steiger Glaser. She was united in marriage with Ralph Kartheiser at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington on June 11 1955. Ellie was a medical transcriptionist at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Port until her retirement in the mid 1980's. Ellie loved to travel. She and her husband enjoyed trips to Europe Florida and New York among other places. Mrs. Kartheiser also was an avid reader and also liked gardening knitting and other hand-craft work. Her husband preceded her in death in 1998. She is survived by one cousin four nieces and one nephew. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Sunday February 18th from the Eernisse Funeral Home at 3PM going to St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church for Mass at 3:30 PM. Father Patrick Wendt will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Mausoleum in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W.
