Eleanor Weyker age 92 years of Heritage Nursing Home in Port Washington formerly of Belgium died Monday evening January 15 2007 at Heritage Nursing Home where she had been a resident for the past several years. She was born October 29 1914 in the Town of Belgium daughter of Andrew and Mary Leider Schmitz. On November 25 1936 she married Sylvester F. Weyker at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Dacada. He preceded her in death in 1999. Mrs. Weyker was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church and St. Mary's Christian Women. She worked at Lake Church Leather for many years. She is survived by three sons Sylvester N. (Anne) Weyker of Belgium Dr. Howard A. (Joyce) Weyker of Sebastopol CA and Father James A. Weyker SDS of Tanzania East Africa eight grandchildren Julie (Robert) Cramer Joseph Weyker Andrew (Kimberly) Weyker Timothy Weyker Sister Mary Gabriel O.P. (Sarah Weyker) Elin (Mitchell) Marovich Erin (Tony) Grillo and Erik (Shirley) Weyker ten great grandchildren one brother Henry (Carol) Schmitz of Grafton one sister Mary Jane (the late Leo) Fechter of Random Lake three sisters in law Bernadine Schmitz Adeline Schmitz and Jeanette Schmitz one brother in law Ray Sinnen nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by four brothers Rev. William Schmitz Alfred Schmitz Roman Schmitz and Marvin Schmitz and three sisters Loretta (William) Weyker Lavina (Harold) Ney and Vernita Sinnen. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 20 10:30 AM at St. Mary Lake Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation at the Eernisse Funeral Home Belgium on Friday from 4-8 PM and at the CHURCH Saturday from 9:30 - 10:30 AM. Parish vigil Friday evening 7:30 PM at the Funeral Home.
