Eleanor Myczek, of Grafton, WI, formerly of Downers Grove, IL, peacefully passed away in the evening hours of Monday, February 10, 2025, at Anita's Gardens in Grafton where she had been a resident. She was 92 years old.

Eleanor was born in Chicago, IL, on February 4, 1933, the daughter of Walter and Helen (nee Mas) Mraz. In 1965, Eleanor began a new chapter when she married the love of her life, Fred Myczek, on May 8th in Chicago. Together, they forged a partnership built on love, camaraderie, and countless beautiful memories.

Eleanor's journey through life was marked by her deep love for her family, especially her treasured grandchildren, for whom she lived and breathed every day. She devoted herself to nurturing their dreams and aspirations, filling their lives with warmth and encouragement. Eleanor was known for her social nature, always bringing people together with her infectious smile and open heart. Her friendships were numerous and special, as she touched the lives of many with her kind spirit.

Eleanor is survived by her two loving sons Jeff (Kim) Myczek and Chris Myczek, and her two beloved grandchildren Katie and Mark. She is further survived by nieces, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Helen, her husband Fred, and her two brothers Richard (the late Patricia) Mraz, and Walter "Sonny" (the late Florence) Mraz.

Visitation for Eleanor will take place on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 2-3 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1619 Washington St., Grafton, WI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 PM. Father Tim Schumaker will preside over the Mass.

She will be laid to rest on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 11 AM, at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL.
