Eleanor Jean Moe of Wauwatosa formerly of Port Washington and Thiensville passed away with her family at her side on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the age of 96. She was born in Milwaukee to Don and Gustavine Field on October 10, 1925. She married Gordon Moe (1925-2008) on November 25, 1961 and together had one son.

Eleanor graduated from University of Michigan Ann Arbor with a degree in Art. She worked at the Milwaukee Lace Paper Company before she was married to Gordon. Eleanor devoted her life to her family and was an excellent cook. She enjoyed yearly summer vacations in Door County and winters in Safford Arizona. Eleanor spent her last four years residing at Luther Manor Courtyards where she met their caring staff and made good friends.

Eleanor will remain in the hearts of her family, David (Catherine) Moe of Wauwatosa, grandchildren Andrew and Elizabeth. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Gordon.

A memorial service will be celebrated for Eleanor at 2:00PM on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Mequon United Methodist Church, 11011 N. Oriole Lane, Mequon, WI 53092. Eleanor will be laid to rest next to her husband at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg.
