Obituary

Mrs. Eleanor B. Bohn age 99 years of Sheboygan Progressive Care Center formerly of Lake Church entered into eternal rest Wednesday morning July 11 2012. Eleanor was born October 4 1912 in Ozaukee County daughter of Thomas and Anna Deppiesse Mallinger . She grew up on a farm near Cedar Grove. She moved to Milwaukee where she worked until she married Edward Henry Bohn of Fillmore at St. Mary's Lake Church on June 17 1944. She remained a lifelong member of the church. Edward preceded her in death in 1967. Eleanor worked for Allen Edmonds in Lake Church and Musebeck Shoe Company of Cedar Grove for many years. She often traveled to Iowa by bus to visit her daughter Vi and family. She relished her time with her grandchildren. Eleanor loved to cook took pride in her home and enjoyed gardening and spending time with friends and family. One of her most favorite activities was dancing; she spent many Sunday afternoons going to local dances with her treasured friend Armin Grisar. They continued to dance even at Eleanor's granddaughter's wedding. Eleanor moved to Sheboygan Progressive Care Center in 2002. Her days there were enjoyable and she lived for weekly visits from her friends and family. Eleanor is survived by her daughter Vi (Warren) Schomberg of Waunakee two grandchildren: Jolene (Todd) Endres and Todd Schomberg and 2 great-grandchildren Taryn and Morgan Endres. She is further survived by her sister-in-law: Marion Bohn of West Bend nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward parents Thomas and Anna Mallinger brother Jacob Mallinger sister Anna Pierron and her treasured friend Armin Grisar. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday July 14 2012 at Divine Savior Church St. Mary Lake Church Chapel with Father James Ernster presiding. Eleanor will be laid to rest beside her husband Edward in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 1:30-2:00PM.
