ELAINE PETERS Mrs. Elaine C. Peters age 89 passed away Sunday September 16th 2007 at her home on Jackson Street in Port Washington. She was born in Milwaukee on March 27 1918 the daughter of Martin and Elizabeth Scheer Lynch. On September 23 1953 she married Wallace Peters. They raised their family in Port Washington. Wallace preceded her in death in 1973. Elaine worked as a loan officer in the mortgage department at Port Washington Savings and Loan for many years. She was a dedicated working mother. Elaine collected salt cellars Toby mugs and silver spoons. Mrs. Peters was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. She is survived by her three children: Sean (Juli Stone) Peters of Loomis CA Sheryl Peters of Port Washington and Colleen (Jeff) Lerner of Winston-Salem NC and two grandchildren: Elliot and Sicily Lerner of Winston-Salem NC. She is further survived by two brothers-in-law Elmer Adam and Jim Grayga and two sisters-in-law Margaret Sis Lynch and Betty Lynch nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband two sisters Joan Adam and Betty Jean Grayga and two brothers James and Robert Lynch. She will be laid to rest on the family lot in St. Mary's Cemetery in Port Washington. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
