Elaine Oskey, of Random Lake, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Sharon Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, surrounded by her loving family. She was 90 years old.
Elaine was born on June 9, 1933, in Random Lake, Wisconsin, to the late Anthony and Anna (Kraus) Miller. On August 27, 1955, she was united in marriage with Albert Oskey at St, Mary's Catholic Church in Random Lake. The couple settled in Milwaukee but moved to Random Lake in 1965 after purchasing the Miller farm on Lynn Road. The couple raised three children.
Elaine worked at Toro in Plymouth as an assembler for over 30 years.
She was a member of Our Lady of The Lakes Parish Chapel in Random Lake, a member at Holy Name of Jesus Christ in Sheboygan and a member of the Toro Quarter Century Club. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, quilting, playing cards and dancing.
She is survived by her three children: Randolph (Sally) Oskey of Sheboygan, Jean (Andy) Shanholtz also of Sheboygan and Thomas (Cindy) Oskey of Sussex. She is also survived by her eight granddaughters: Emily (Craig Lubenow) Oskey, Naomi (Shawn Langrek) Oskey, Leslie (Emily Weiss) Oskey, Stacy (Travis) Whitcomb, Colleen (Brandon) Ebersole, Courtney (Nick) Kartes, Madeline and Amanda Oskey; nine great-grandchildren; Evalynn, Nevaeh, Landon, Collin, Alliyah, Brynn, Elise, Braylen and Layken, her sister Shirley (Delmer) Liebe of Plymouth, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert who passed away in 2015, her son Joseph and daughter Mary Ann, her two brothers Lester (the late Louise) Miller and Melvin (the late Ruth) Miller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Our Lady of The Lakes Parish - Saint Mary's Chapel, 230 Butler Street, Random Lake.
The family will greet family and friends at the CHURCH from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Internment at St. Mary's Random Lake.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, or to the Alzheimer's Association.
