Elaine F. Ma Hubing Elaine F. Ma Hubing of Dacada passed away Friday April 25 2003 at her residence after a short battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 1 1936 in the Town of Wilson daughter of Gertrude Buchholz DePagter and the late Harvey DePagter. On May 4 1957 she married John Junior Hubing at St. George's Catholic Church in Six Corners Wis. The couple farmed in Belgium until moving to Dacada in October of 1966. Junior preceded her in death in 1987. Ma was employed at Simplicity Manufacturing in Port Washington as a final assembler and was a member of Local 1430 IAM for the past 31 years. She also served as a trustee on Ozaukee Trades and Labor Council. Mrs. Hubing was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish the Christian Women and the American Legion Auxiliary Belgium Post 412. Elaine loved playing the Wisconsin lottery scratch off tickets sheepshead and bingo. She truly enjoyed going to work where she made many friends over the years. She is survived by eight children Diane Hubing of Elkhart Lake Donna (Thomas) Birenbaum of Fredonia Debra (Daniel) Cavanaugh of Random Lake Doris (Robert) Mayer of Random Lake Darlene (Mark) Griffin of Random Lake Dale Hubing of Dacada Duane (Kimberly) of Cottage Grove and David Hubing of Dacada; her mother Gertrude DePagter of the Town of Wilson; 10 grandchildren Amy and Scott Cavanaugh Nicole and Mark Griffin Jodi and Ryan Birenbaum and Nicholas Amber Holly and Hannah Hubing; and three brothers Richard DePagter of Bradenton Fla. Daniel DePagter and Gerald DePagter of Sheboygan Falls. She is further survived by her in-laws Gertrude Fieber of Port Washington Norbert (Esther) Hubing of Tucson Ariz. Donald (Harriet) Hubing of Random Lake Genrose (Alex) Brabender of Tucson Robert (Lucille) Hubing of Random Lake Melvin (Sandra) Hubing of Belgium Gerald (Arlene) Hubing of Belgium Kathleen Bares of Belgium Eleanor Hubing of Fredonia Mary (Gene) Bares of Holy Cross; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband her father and two brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Richard Cerpich at 8 p.m. on Monday April 28 at Our Lady of the Lake Parish St. Nicholas Chapel Dacada. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will take place on Monday from 3 until 7:30 p.m. at the Eernisse Funeral Home 171 N.
