Tuesday April 4, 2017 age 88. Loving husband for 66 years of Patricia (nee Wulff). Beloved father of Thomas (Susan) and Terrence (Kathryn) Schmidt. Proud grandfather of Rachelle (Isaac) Covert, Theresa (Dana) Freiburger, Alison and Andrew Schmidt, and Samuel Valenti. Cherished great-grandfather of Olivia, Isabella, Charlotte and Asher Covert, baby girl Covert on her way, and Mason and Ellery Freiburger. Preceded in death by his great-granddaughter Beatrice Covert. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Memorial Service 12 noon on Saturday April 8, 2017 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church of South Mequon, 10001 N. Cedarburg Rd, Mequon, WI 53092. Reception in the Church Hall to follow. Visitation Saturday at the Church from 11 AM until time of service.
